Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-17

By using DevToolPal Passport Photo (the "site") you agree to these terms.

The service

The site lets you crop, change the background of, check and print ID photos for free. All processing happens in your browser; see the Privacy Policy.

No guarantee of acceptance

• The site is not affiliated with any government or issuing authority. Photo requirements are compiled from public sources and may change or be incomplete; always check the current official requirements before you apply.
• Automatic checks are an aid and cannot guarantee that a photo will be accepted. The issuing authority decides.

Acceptable use

• Only process photos of yourself, or of people who agreed (a parent or guardian for minors).
• ID photos must show your true likeness. Do not use the site to alter facial features, impersonate someone or make fraudulent documents.
• Do not disrupt the site, for example with heavy automated traffic.

Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from its use or from a rejected photo, including retakes, application fees or travel delays.

Open-source components

The open-source libraries and AI models used by the site are under their own licenses; see Open-source licenses.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept them.
